Mythic Nymue, Weaver of the Cycle, is officially down by the AFK team. This makes them 5/9M, with just Larry and Smoldy with the questionable voice acting left to go. Larry progression started tonight on 1/3/24, so let’s see how quickly they’re get the good goat horse man down. Congratulations AFK team!

AFK done did it again. They moidered the trio of dreams, checking off another mythic kill in their progression. Now 4/9M, in just two weeks, is on pace to really push this tier. Now that everyone has access to the new helm enchants, that extra nudge in player power/pseudo raid nerf, will definitely help in these later bosses. Up next on their docket is Nymue, the Dreamweaver. They swung some pulls on her tonight, but only had so much time left before raid was over. Regardless, congratulations to AFK on your achievement!!! ❤️🔥
AFK, in stunning fashion, uprooted the tree, booped Igira back, and dewormed the firey wormy boi. This was AFK’s first night venture into M this season, easily scoring three mythic bosses to their ledger. Led by the three amigos, Izzacangel, Baybespice (who is not, in fact, just a bebe), and Crazyslapper, AFK had a very good first progression raiding night. The evening was not without tears however, as our resident plague rat, Vexrell, had the pox, scurvy, and dysentery but still managed to pull herself up from her bootstraps and tank for the team. Thank you Vex!

The AFK raid team defeated Rashok, the Elder in under 65 pulls. What an amazing achievement earned for such a stellar boss design and encounter. The healers were the STARS of the show, keeping everyone alive through unbearable heal absorbs and strong hits. Raider became pro’s at dodging balls-to-the-face, usually enjoyable for some but the not so fun here. This officially marks them down for 5/9M progression. Talks of pushing harder next tier are happening but we’ll see what the team wants to do in Guardians of the Dream!
Like Neltharion, AFK delved into alchemical romances, remembering the Titans… Forgotten Experiments. What does this mean? They killed the boss, hombre. After some hurdles with schedule adjustments and “yadayada getting 20+ people together in one place at one time” situated, AND with Augmentation Evokers now in the mix, the Fofo Experiments were soundly defeated.
I think there was a mythic chromatic essence in the loot, maybe? One can dream or perhaps my ADHD will allow me to remember. Congratualtions to AFK and locking down 4/9M. ⚗️
MYTHICC’s 2nd key tournament of Dragonflight officially ended… so who were the winners? Much like a food recipe, you will have to scroll for 84 years to find out. But first we discuss the event—this 4-week long event tracked participants through dungeons (between key levels 16-20) while keeping a scorecard of their end-of-dungeon timers. Players were awarded bonus points, scaling by key level, while simultaneously also disregarding one weeks’ worth of bad points.
Players pushed themselves harder than ever before and 20s were being completed with relative ease. There were some lows as well, as players encountered pitfalls causing score upsets. Warriors swept the floor securing both 2nd and 3rd place spots, but a mage rose above all others… here are the winners! 🏅
Winners took home some sweet sweet gold! 💰 Keep your eyes out for the next event and thank you to everyone who participated!!!
In hindsight, looking at the winners, they were all Tauren. Cows run this city. 🐄🐄🐄

On July 2nd, Swipe Left downed Sarkalathalalaala in their Sunday best, which secured their AotC achievement for the team. The nasty hump of mechanics that overlap right at the start of the 3rd phase was the cause for many failures, as it’s designed to be that way. But SL figured it out, gracefully getting booped by dispels and playing pika boo with the bombs wasn’t anything they couldn’t handle. Congratulations to SL and sorry for the late post! New patch new energy, enjoy the new content! 🔥
New Students took their first AOTC after taking down the de facto leader of the Sundered Flame in an all but standard fashion, the last pull. New Students was a new team created this tier by Captnsharkey and his wife, Shamncheese, who’re tried to find a better time that fit their PST work-life balance. MYTHICC picked up the bill gladly and made it happen! Grat’s to NS and their first major accomplishment. 🎉
